Jello cake ideals ?

My mom showed me this is recipe and my kids and husband love it . 1 box of cake mix ( so far we've tried yellow and chocolate ) bake as normal then cool some and poke holes all over the cake all the way to the bottom . ( the more times u stab it like crazy the better ) then u take your small box of jello and mix it all up according to direction like your making jello and dump it all over the cake ( this is why the holes threw out the cake are so important so the jello can seep threw ) we've tried strawberry with yellow cake a cherry with chocolate . Then you refrigerate till cold which takes several hour . To speed process u can put in freezer but keep a close eye on it and don't forget it . Afterwards cut and serve with can whip cream or cool whip . Was wondering if anyone else has any combo ideals for jello cake
