Is it me  or maybe something is wrong with me.

I hate the way the new recipe swap comes up.  Wish they would

go back to the old way.

Makes me wonder did someon not have anything to do so they

came up with this.

Just wondering.

Wow! I never knew there was one! I would love to be involved in something like that.

Speaking of which.....we've been deluged with Christmas already. But I had an idea to take all the old family Christmas cookie & candy recipes and some old photos ~ and have a family recipe book made at one of the photo sites for my kids. I caved & bought the little gingerbread man measuring spoons for each of my kids & their spouses. Then give the measuring spoons and cookie recipe book as a gift to each couple.

We've been in wedding mode for two of our children from late 2012 till now with the wedding being in early autumn for my only daughter! I cried today getting out some old photos and their was a sweet one from when my daughter was in kindergarten and we were on a class trip; a hayride and pumpkin picking. Oh how the tears flowed! She's the most wonderful young woman in every way. But boy, do I miss that little 5 year old angel that was all mine! Sounds selfish....but I'm not. It's just a magical time for a parent. Just as planning a wedding is!

with ALL that said....regarding recipes; do you ladies (and guys) do some kind of Christmas/Holiday recipe swap? If so, I'd love to be involved!

OK, now back to the dog days of summer!  :-)

No, it's not just you.  This whole thing is a big mess, probably designed by people in India or recent technical school grads...   Nowadays, IT departments outsource everything to India because it's cheaper...
