Hi friends..with St. Patrick's approaching, I thought I would post this...( LOL please be kind with comments, as I DO NOT KNOW if this is ACTUALLY Irish...All I know is this is the name of it.) {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Irish Cider Stew

1 (19.75 ounce) package Johnsonville ORGINAL Bratwurst Links

8 ounces baby carrots

2 large red potatoes...chopped

3/4 onion

2 granny smith apples...chopped

1/4 cup green cabbage... chopped

2 quarts apple cider

3 tablespoons cider vinegar

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons cornstarch

salt

pepper

Cook links then slice in 1/4 inch slices. Place carrots, potatoes, apples , cabbage, cider, vinegar and broth in a large pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer 30 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water. Pour into stew. Add the sliced links. Reduce heat to low. Stirring constantly simmer til it thickens...about 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
