When is QVC selling the Instant Pot? So over Copper Chef..

The Instant Pot is widely available. There really is no need for QVC to sell it. I prefer my Cooks Essentials pressure cooker which came in beautiful colors.

Has no one seen the news? These Instant Pots are burning up. They are giving out the model numbers so you can call the company for a refund. It's been on our news for a few days.

So far, I have only seen news stories stating the only Instant Pot being recalled is the oval shaped multi-cooker. The Gem something. None of the actual pressure cookers have had a problem yet. It has been very misleading because the news people keep showing every type of Instant Pot as they introduce the story. Once you listen to the actual information, they tell you which specific model is the problem. ABC news even said the pots in question were sold exlusively at Walmart.

Looks like today is the day. The Instant Pot is a new Top FInd and is listed in the show for In the Kitchen with David

@luvmybeetle, The one appliance that was recalled was NOT a Pressure cooker. It was a multi cooker without a pressure cooker function.

There will be 2 new versions coming out soon.( May/June) The Max has new features, more power, faster, easier to clean, stir feature and other goodies. It will cost around $200. It will be a 6 quart but is not supposed to be just another upgrade of the current models. All new!! They are not saying a word about the other one that I can find. So many have been begging for an oval version so maybe...

No, they are not. There is one pot model with problems and it is not the regular Instapot. It doesn't even look the same.
