I haven't posted here in a long time but if anyone can help me I know it's you folks. My DH and I don't really exchange Christmas Gifts. We just kind of tell each other what we'd like and if it's something specific we order it ourselves. Saves a lot of returned or never used gifts.
This year I'm getting an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker for Christmas. I bought it on Friday on Amazon of $78.55 in one of their daily deals. Now my problem is I don't know the first thing about electric pressure cookers. Could anyone give me a suggestion as to a good simple pressure cooker cookbook. Thank you in advance and thank you for all your great posts.

@ChouChou congratulations on the Instant Pot and the incredible price! I know you will enjoy using it as much as I do.
Please know it does come with a small recipe book to get you started. I wish I could help you with a recipe book recommendation but I usually just browse around online for recipes and tips.
Again, enjoy!

there are some websites about pressure cooking as well, when I got my IP I got some books from the library, but I found it was easier to use the internet and the Facebook group.
I used my IP during thanksgiving and it was great,

I'm a fan of Bob Warden's Great Food Fast, which is geared toward electric pressure cookers. All the recipes we tried have been winners.
I know many follow Miss Vickie (has cookbook and website), but she mostly deals with traditional stove-top pressure cookers.
Have fun with your new purchase! An Instant Pot is on my wishlist when my current electric pressure cooker bites the dust. ![]()

I just KNEW that this was the right place to get answers. Thank you all for answering. I got the Bob Warren cookbook and I went to the Facebook IP page and joined the group. Boy, do they have a lot of information.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!![]()

There are many, many recipes online...just "Google" pressure cooker recipes. Actual many of your current favorites can be adapted to the pressure cooker without a special recipe as long as they contain enough liquid to generate steam. Find a recipe for a similar type of meat to get the time; you'll soon be able to judge that for yourself.
