Hot Milk Cake

4 eggs

2 cups sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour (10 oz.)

2 teaspoon baking powder

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 stick butter

1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350*, put rack in the middle of the oven.  Grease and flour a tube pan. Put the butter and milk in a small saucepan, place on low, when butter has melted it is ready. Sift the flour and baking powder together.

Mix the eggs, add the sugar, mix til light in color. Add the flour mixture. Then slowly add the heated milk/butter and vanilla. Scrape bowl, to make sure all is mixed. Put in prepared cake pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until it comes from the sides and tests done. 😊
