Okay, with great hesitation, I will post another favorite recipe.

Great for the holidays and it can be made days ahead. And it is so good! Fluffys up while it bakes. Always, always a hit.

AND YES, YOU CAN MAKE IT WITH LOW FAT SOUR CREAM AND CREAM CHEESE.

Holiday Mashed Potatoes

12 large potatoes, peeled, quartered, and boiled

8 oz cream cheese

8 oz sour cream

1 t. onion powder

1 t. garlic powder

salt and peper to taste

Mash the potatoes, add the cheese, sour cream and powder. Place in 9 x 13 pan. Drizzle 1/4 c. melted butter on top. Sprinkle with some paprika. Cover the pand and refrigerate up to 3 days. Bake at 350 uncovered for 1 hour.

This is so great for the holidays. Can be made days earlier then pop in the oven. It fluffs up while baking. We love it.

Could add cooking, crumbled bacon pieces and shredded cheddar cheese for a twice baked potato taste.
