I will post the one I always use, was a very good friends BUT my DH loves the ones his gram use to make on the spur of the moment for dinners using great northern butter beans. He said they were so good and you could fix them in minutes for dinner. He doesn't know of course what she did to make them so I said I would ask here, anyone know how to make quick/easy baked beans using these butter beans, are canned butter beans. thank you

This is mine from a good friend, hope you like it: It is so good and so easy, always turns out well.

BILL'S BAKED BEANS

Soak one lb. of beans overnight-drain and cook well till soft;
In crockpot put beans and
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of molasses
1/2 lb. raw bacon
COOK ALL DAY
We prefer the large fordhook limas but use whatever you like best
