My pricey made from scratch blueberry pie was a flop- evidently I didn’t use enough binding agent and it turned into a combination of tasty crust and blueberry mess.

Is there any way I can recycle it into something edible?

How about remaking it into a blueberry cobbler?

Blueberry pie ice cream!

Remove filling and put in a baking dish. Make a crumble out of the crust, some oats or nuts, brown sugar and butter. Sprinkle over top of berries and bake.

@violann I was watching a couple of Pioneer Woman shows this week and she recycled pies into smoothies.  Maybe that could be an option for you?

           @violann,  First things that come to mind...   use for a warm topping on ice cream.   Or, layer it with custard or pudding to make a chilled dessert.   Now I want everything that's been mentioned on this thread!🙃

Pour the filling over a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

@violann

By the way, someone on the forum tipped me off to this years ago and it's the best thing I've found for thickening. You mix it into the sugar before you add it.  I get it from King Arthur Flour.
