Here on the west coast, Hellmans is Best foods---I think---haven't tried many brands other than the store brands and Best foods--we use lots of Kewpie mayo--and the best is homemade.

@LdyBugz my husband bought a jar last week and when I took it out of the bag it looked off.  Grey just like you said.  I turned it over and it looked like the grey stuff sunk to the bottom.  I didn't open but even the texture looks off.  

It's going back.

We have tried Mike's Amazing Mayo and also the Bowl & Basket brand and both are very good.

This Southern girl here likes Duke's, Hellman's and Kewpie, but definitely not miracle whip (awful taste).

i like and use both, but probably purchase hellmanns more.

i also like mrs filberts, but that has become so difficult to find.

For the first time about two months ago I bought Blue PLate.

Hellmans was something like $7 and Blue Plate was less than $4 i think. I like it. 

I do not like the Hellmans squeeze bottles. Never buying again. Hard to get out it all out of them i had to add vinegar and use the tablespoons left as dressing for salads. You simply cannot squeeze all of it out.

i LOVE the hellmanns squeeze bottles....so convenient for me. i get the telescoping spatulas from amazon and they are great to have for so many things in jars/bottles!

Love Duke's but we are out of their shipping area so it's about twice as much as Hellman's here.  Maybe I'll buy it and try it with potato salad, don't remember doing that the one time I tried it.

Definitely Hellmanns here. Dukes is too lemony for me.

@CelticCrafter.  Geez, it's such a shame they changed Hellman's.  Who wants to eat grey goop?!  I imagine they've lost a lot of faithful customers, like us.  Thanks for the tip on the other brands!  I'll have to look for those.  👍👍

@LdyBugz "Grey goop" is the funniest thing I've encountered here. Hellman's has not changed their recipe, and I'll believe "grey goop" when I see it. Don't be so quick to believe everything you read here. But thanks for the laugh!
