I know it is totally not "ice cream eating weather," and some of you may be familiar with this method of making ice cream already but I was not so had to try it out even though our weather has started getting cooler. I also decided to try what I consider to be a healthier sweetener and I believe the amount of sweetener used is less than what would be in store bought varieties, making it "healthier" IMHO.
I know I'm probably opening up a can of worms making that claim ... but we will not all always agree on any topic probably!
This is a great recipe to do with kids, too.
