This is so tasty, and it’s quick and easy to prepare, a really nice change. I serve it with steamed broccoli and good sliced red tomatoes. This is a variation on a chicken recipe that I developed using flavors that I enjoy putting together. I think mushrooms, thyme, and onions are a natural combo that go well with ham. Enjoy!

Impossible Ham and Swiss Pie

2 cups cut-up fully cooked smoked ham
4 1/2-oz jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c sliced green onions; I prefer white or sweet onions, chopped
1/2 t salt
1 c shredded natural Swiss cheese, about 4 oz
1 1/2 c milk
3/4 c Bisquick baking mix
3 eggs
2 t prepared mustard
1 t thyme

Heat oven to 400 deg F.

Lightly grease 10 x 1 1/2 inch pie plate.

Sprinkle ham, mushrooms, onions, salt and cheese in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed. Pour into pie plate. Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 30-35 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate any remaining pie. 6-8 servings.
