I use Heinz Roasted Turkey Gravy in the jar...it's just DH & me. If I'm not doing giblets, I like to shred a little of the turkey meat and add that to it, along with chopped hard-boiled eggs (one or two is plenty for the jar size). I also add a tabllespoon of the turkey drippings.

Just pour any canned or in a jar turkey gravy over the turkey in the crock pot before starting the cooking.

@Pook ....hmm, Interesting.... am a recipe follower (just because I am not brave when cooking)  and my recipe does not mention this but, ..but I guess I could add the gravy in the crock pot, thanks.

I find the Knorr brand of packaged mixes to be the best.

People deep frying turkey also use ready-made gravy or mixes as they would not have a source for drippings,

@Mom2Dogs

I can attest to Trader Joe's turkey gravy a small carton as being good. At my Trader Joe's it's on display as you enter the store.

It's not like mom used to make, but what is anymore.

I have used both Knorr and McCormick dry packaged Turkey Gravy. I use them throughout the year and buy the one I can get with curbside pickup. At Thanksgiving my son makes the best gravy. He created it, and even though I have watched him, mine is not as good.

A couple years ago I supplemented with this one below and thought it was pretty good....but I'm certainly no gravy connoisseur. I purchased it again last week as I'm not going to make my own gravy this year. I bought it at our local small town grocery store. It was in the refrigerated section along side premade mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, etc. It's in a carton/tub type container.

I use the gravy envelopes and stir turkey drippings right into the gravy, comes out delicious!

Today I am making a post roast on the stove, and use:

Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Roasted Garlic soup

Lipton's Beefy Onion Dry Soup Mix

Chopped Potatoes

Sliced Peppers

Green Beans

Pearl Onions

Carrots

And I freeze the leftover gravy in containers.

I know, it's not turkey gravy, but I use it as general gravy for all types of dishes, it's just the tastiest, as far as gravies go!
