We love Spam and fried bologna sandwiches. Fry it up in a skillet Put  a slice of cheese on top so it melts.  Also chop it up and fry it up with sliced green onions, scramble some eggs. And put a big slice tomato on a sandwich.

My husband and I enjoy Spam ocassionally.  We both grew up with it and I always try to have a container of it in my pantry.  My 86 year old mother, who lives with us, just LOVES Spam.  She'll cut thin slices for sandwiches.  I generally serve it with breakfast food (eggs, pancakes) instead of bacon.  I also stir diced Spam into homemade macaroni and cheese before baking it.

I like spam, always have some in the cupboard.  I dont eat it right out of the can.  For me it needs fried.

My mon fixed it in brown sugar.  Just put some brown sugar in a skillet with a drop of water and fry slices of spam.  Yum!

Yea!  I forgot to mention in my original post after slicing the spam, dip in a bowl of low sodium soy sauce with a little sugar to cut the saltiness then pan fry.

I remember having it a lot when I was a kid but hadn't had it for years so a couple of years ago I bought some.  Maybe just my palate but I found it salty.  Maybe I should try it again.

There is a low salt variety of Spam on supermarket shelves.
