Re: Fresca is Back

[ Edited ]

In my local area, Fresca sales dropped so low once the bottling companies introduced new flavors of their name brand colas (Cherry Coke, etc.), stores quit stocking it in order to have shelf space for the brands that were selling.  My IGA has original Fresca on the shelf now, but I don't think it has been there until the last year or so.  I like Fresca more than 7-up or Sprite.

I used to like it.  Frm what I remember it tasted like grapefruit soda.

@drizzellla Fresca never went away but did become limited. I noticed it at least a year or so ago on our shelves.  Google search:

Fresca never actually went out of production, though periodic supply chain issues sometimes make it tricky to find. You can buy the iconic zero-calorie, grapefruit-flavored sparkling soda on shelves at major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Amazon

I never cared for it but as a kid I wanted something that tasted like sugar not fruit, so I slugged down as many cokes as I could get away with.

Thanks for this Fresca alert.

Fresca cocktail and mocktail recipes.

Lots of Fresca recipes out there.
