FREEZER SLAW

1 medium head cabbage, grated

1 large carrot grated

1 green pepper chopped fine

Add 1 teaspoon kosher sale to cabbage and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out juice. Add carrot & pepper.

Dressing:

1 cup vinegar

1/2 cup water

2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon celery

1 teaspoon mustard seed

Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Let stand until lukewarm and then pour over cabbage mixture. Place in containers and freeze.

I was hesitatent at first because I thought the cabbage would not hold up well in freezer but it does and this is really good slaw.
