It was from 1933, in fact I have one other one too. Grandma lived to almost 102. She loved to cook. Maybe someone else has a mom or grandmother that loved to cook too that we learned from and remember. She always had cookies, for whomever dropped by. Food = love then. Probably still does. To read the front of these books and learn the "woman's duties, as wife and mother" are so of that era. I love these books. I've kept a few of her hand-written recipes and even some of mom's. I'm thinking of framing these for my kitchen wall. I have a couple of my mother-in-law's too. Good way to remember them. Anyone else?
