Preheated oven - 350 degrees - 35 minutes

Double crusts for 3 pies

3 lbs ground port butts (not too fat or lean)

3 med potatoes, mashed -no milk

3 small onions, diced small

1 tsp cloves

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp allspice

salt/pepper to taste

Simmer pork, onions & seasonings, adding enough water to just cover pork. (do not cover pan). Cook until liquid evaporates. Mix pork and potatoes together well.

Fill 3 pies shells. Add top crust and seal edges. Brush with milk if baked immediately.

Pies freeze well. Thaw before baking.

Baked pies also freeze well. Thaw and reheat.
