Finally tried this dressing tonight that I had pulled out a magazine I think years ago! If you are not too adverse to sugar it is really nice for a change but between the ketchup and the brown sugar it is very sweet.

3 T white wine vinegar
3 T brown sugar
2 T ketchup
1 t Dijon mustard
1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
1/4 t black pepper
1/8 t Kosher salt

Whisk all ingredients together.

Had this over a salad with homemade croutons. It is a keeper for an occasional treat.

Thanks DiAnne! DH loves French Dressing. I will have to make it for him soon. So, would you make it as is again, or cut back on the sugar??

Yes, thanks DiAnne! My DH also loves French Dressing. I have been making all my dressings from scratch lately and loving them! So fresh and no ingredients I can't pronounce!

I'm also interest if you made it again, would you cut back on the sugar?

I am going to make it the same way. It is a nice change from the usual vinaigrettes I usually make. I served over a salad with artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, avocado and sliced green olives with homemade croutons and it tasted really good.

It is sweet but sure it is much healthier than the bottled stuff.

So this recipe has no oil in it?

Don't make the mistake I did by storing it in an empty Ragu jar. My husband made spaghetti sauce and thought he's use up the remaining that was in the refrigerator.

Oh, no! That sounds like something that would happen in my house!
