The last 2 recipes are at least 75 years old or more since they were my mom's mom, my grandmother as you can probably tell from the ingredients.
My friend Kevin's PB cups, all there is to this recipe and I haven't made it in 20 years
1 Stick of butter
1 cup of creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup white karo syrup
2 cups powdered sugar
If too moist add more pwd sugar
If too dry add a little more karo
make into sort of balls but a bit flat, dip in the melted chocolate and can either sit on non stick foil or put into tiny paper cups(to look like PB cups), put in fridge
used tempered chocolate(in craft store)
These below are ones from my mom I found in my old recipe files, were her mom's.
Peanut Butter Eggs
3 lb powder sugar
2 lb creamy PB
1 tsp. salt
4 unbeaten egg whites
1 cup of water
Mix and Chill. Make egg shapes than dip in melted chocolate(chocolate) Melt 1 oblong of paraffin and 1 box of unsweetened chocolate
Easter Candy Eggs
1/2 lb cream cheese
1/2 lb butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 lbs powder sugar
12 ounces of PB OR 14 ounces of coconut
chill well. Melt 1/2 block of paraffin to 5 blocks of chocolate
