A friend wants to make some now and freeze them til Christmas time. Anybody ever do this?? How did they do after thawing??
The recipe is softened butter, powdered sugar, coloring and peppermint flavoring. Thanks for letting me know.

I have had no trouble freezing these in the past when I made them. I froze them individually so they wouldn't stick together, put them into plastic freezer bags, and then (probably overkill!) put the freezer bags into lidded plastic containers for more protection.
