No one thought that the eggnog flavor was overpowering, not even my husband who is not a big fan of eggnog.

 

I had a huge amount of frosting left over, and I'm having a couple of friends here tonight so I baked two chocolate layers and frosted it with the eggnog frosting.  I'm looking forward to trying it later.
