Eating History

Watched this show last night on the History Channel. They eat unopened old food.They talk about the history of the food, then taste it. People mail them the items. They tasted 40 year old Fritos,106 year old Hardtack, 72 year old Wheaties, 1970's MRE, and 40 year bottle of hot sauce.

How bad was the food? I recall seeing the commercial for the show but didn't think I wanted to watch.

They liked the Wheaties better with milk, then without. They also ate the MRE. They didn't like the Fritos. Hardtack, or Hot Sauce.

Missed it but I'd have been more interested in seeing them eat from Canned foods.  Maybe I'd be a little bolder in what I kept in the pantry.  They say canned food lasts quite a few years but I dunno...  You try it first.
