Perfectly Easy dinner Rolls

posted by littlemac

Last night I made the Cafeteria Rolls that was posted on the boards. This morning, I came across this recipe and have used it many times. I think the crumb is a little softer on these rolls. Enjoy:

PERFECTLY EASY DINNER ROLLS

1 Cup warm water (105 degrees to 115 degrees)

2 Packs of active dry yeast (NOT quick rise)

½ Cup Butter, melted

½ Cup Sugar

3 Eggs

1 teaspoon salt

4-4 ½ Cups all purpose flour

Makes 2 dozen rolls

Combine water and yeast in a large bowl, cover with a plate and let mix stand until yeast is foamy-about 5 minutes.

Stir in butter, sugar eggs and salt. Beat in flour one cup at a time, until dough is too stiff to mix. Some flour may not be needed. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or up to 4 days. Grease a 9x13 pan. Turn the chilled dough onto lightly floured board. Cut dough into 24 equal size pieces. Roll into balls and put in pan. Let rise, in a warm place 1 hour and then bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

*These are so good you will want to eat all 24!

These were very good, just thought id repost for those of you who never saw it...submitted by littlemac
