Pillsbury Bake-Off winner. They're called Poppin' Fresh Barbecups and were in Bake-Off 19 in 1968.

3/4 pound ground beef
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

In large skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Add barbecue sauce, onion, and brown sugar. Set aside.

Separate biscuit dough into 12 biscuits. Place one biscuit in each of 12 ungreased muffin cups, pressing dough up sides to edge of cup. Spoon meat mixture into cups. Sprinkle each with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Variations: Use 1 15-ounce can chili with beans in place of the meat mixture. Spoon chili into biscuit lined cups. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Or use a 13 ounce can of baked beans and 3 chopped hot dogs. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
