Re: EASY CHRISTMAS APPETIZERS? HELP

Many of the suggestions stand out.  I don't know what the OP wants.  Does she want dancing elves as servers at her event.  I found so many recipes interesting and different.  I may try out a few myself.

Phyllo shells are a great vehicle apps that are one or two bites.  Cold crab salad, no-bake cheesecake filling with fruit topping,  ham or  egg salad, etc.; goat cheese with hot jalapeño jelly,  warm brie with honey and chopped walnuts,  taco meat n cheese, ...literally possibilities are endless, just need  to assemble close to serving to avoid soggy. Look up ideas online.

I put mine on a 3 tier tray, looks great.

Re: EASY CHRISTMAS APPETIZERS? HELP

I was at a holiday party once and mini Rubens were served. You know w/mini slices of bread.

Another idea from long ago,but can be made easy. A boughten cheese ball and a depression in the top. In that depression put strawberry jam. Know it sounds yucky but is really tasty. I love the combo of salt and sweet.

I'm with @Calibeach on the meatball app. We like the chili sauce and grape jelly recipe.  Use a slow cooker (don't forget the liner), and it's warm all night. I like to use those little "silver" forks on the side instead of toothpicks. Just put it on low in the morning, and it's ready for your party.

3-5 lbs. small frozen meatballs
32 oz. jar grape jelly
2-12 oz. jars chili sauce (I use Heinz)

Many years ago my brother was getting married. THe Bride's Mom naturally wanted to meet the groom's family. She was a Very good cook. Just mentioning her name makes the subject change to a fond memory of something she cooked..

She made those meatballs. It was the first time I had them. I liked them so much. I would have been happy just to have them for dinner. But since we were meeting the Bride's family for the first time, I knew I couldn't. They were so tasty.
