1 stick butter

1 1/4 c chopped nuts

1 c flour

8 oz cream cheese

1 c powdered sugar

2 8 oz containers cool whip

3 c milk

1 small box instant chocolate pudding

1 small box instant vanilla pudding

Preheat oven 350°

Combine butter, 1 cup chopped nuts & flour. Press into bottom of 13x9 pan.

Bake 20-25 mins. until golden brown.

Let cool.

Combine cream cheese & powdered sugar & 1 8 oz container of cool whip. 

Spread on crust when cooled.

Combine milk, chocolate & vanilla pudding. Beat 2 mins.

Spread on second layer.

Top with other 8 oz container of cool whip.

Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 c chopped nuts.

Keep Refrigerated.

I've made this as a diabetic dessert.  Yummy!

Use an artificial sweetener in the cream cheese or omit that layer.

Use 2 separate layers of pudding allowing each to 'set' before doing the next one.

Use Jello cook sugar free pudding in chocolate and vanilla  

Follow directions exactly when cooking pudding.  Over cooking kills the sweetener in the pudding!

Took this to a Christmas with a table full of pies and it was the only completely empty plate!
