I had to cut my dill plant back this AM. and I didn’t want to waste it. I put it in the big green salad I had for lunch, and it added a nice touch. I think I’ll start putting more fresh herbs in my green salads. 🌿 🥗🌿

I use all kinds of fresh herbs in my salads (fresh basil a favorite)...so refreshing!

When I used to grow my own herbs, I would put them in almost everything, now I buy from the grocery store and just eat them in salads and add to dressings.

I grow a lot of different herbs and use them in many dishes, why I never thought to  put them in green salad I don’t know. 🤷‍♀️

dill is wonderful in rice, in yogurt for a savory side dish.

dill can also be dried easily for use at a later date.

I make a salad with dill that we ate when we lived in Greece.

Finely shredded lettuce.  I use my favorite:  Little Gem

Finely sliced green onion both white and green parts

Chopped dill (I like lots of it)

Squeeze of lemon

S & P

Drizzle of Olive Oil.    Toss and eat.  It is so simple and delicious.

@sunshine45 I like to make buttered noodles and add cottage cheese and dill . So good as a snack or a side dish. Something I grew up eating. I like large curd cottage cheese in with the medium wide noodles.
