When my mom was in medical school in Jackson, MS at Ole Miss, we lived there, of couse, and there was this restaruant called the Little Red Hen, is has since gone out of business, and they had what they called an almond fudge pie. The almond had to be from flavoring, as it did not have nuts in it, and it was heavy in weight, but light on taste, and very fudgy, but it was a cooked pie, not with whipped topping or puddings. Anyone want to share a recipe that I might be able to substitute?? Allrecipes, and Epicurious was not good in my search...........Anyone???
