Crock Pot Chilli

[ Edited ]

I just set this to cook, and thought that I would share my recipe.

Of course, the spices can be adjusted to suit individual taste, and heat tolerance.

2 lbs browned ground beef

1 cup diced onion

1 jalapeno pepper seeded, diced

1 6oz can tomato paste

1 8oz can tomato sauce

1 4 oz can diced green chilis

1 4oz can diced jalapeno

1 15 1/2 oz can kidney beans

1 15 1/2 oz can red beans

1 15 1/2 oz can black beans

3 dried chili peppers

1 1/2 teaspoons dried chili  peppers powder

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon mesquite seasoning

2 teaspoons packaged chili seasoning mix

1/2 teaspoon habanero sauce

Pour all ingredients in to Crock Pot, including the liquid from the cans of beans.

Set Crock Pot for 8 hour cook time.

@Anonymous032819   This sounds delicious.  Perfect dreary winter day to make this.  Thank you for posting this.

More of a southwest flavor than my Midwest chili but I know I'd love it.
