I've got a recipe that calls for butter, "1/2 cup Crisco", eggs, sugar, cake flour, milk, vanilla & lemon flavoring. My question is when they call for the "1/2 cup Crisco", are they talking about the liquid oil or the solid white Crisco? This always confuses me. Thank you.
