I just purchased some flavored olive oils. One is Blood Orange and the other is Meyer Lemon. I really like the taste of them. Now, I have to find some recipes I can use them in. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm sorry to say that I don't have any recipes but can you tell me where you purchased the oils? I'm intrigued by them and have never used them.
Thanks
Cindy

I purchased them at a local Craft Fair I attended this past weekend. There were several chefs there purchasing them. The name of the business that makes and sells them is listed on the bottle as: EveryDay Gourmets. One of the ladies told me the Blood Orange flavored olive oil goes well on spinach salads with feta, walnuts, and spinach. She was trying to tell me about mixing the lemon with yogurt. They actually had a chocolate flavored one the chefs were purchasing to put on steaks!!! Can you believe it? I sampled it, and the chocolate was very good. I hope someone can post some more ideas. I'm really anxious to try them out.

We have a store here in Texas that sells them. It's called Oil & Vinegar. I bought some orange, thinking I could make popcorn with an orangey taste. It did not turn out well. I will be interested to see if anyone has any other ideas.

I usually use flavored oils and vinegars for salad dressings.
You might be able to drizzle them over some fish or chicken before baking.

Anderson's General Store sells loads of flavored oils & vinegars in fact, not at all costly either. They always have samples of everyone of them every day with crusty breads cut up to dip. There are a LOT that I really enjoy.
The lemon oil sounds gread but I love everything/anything lemon. I found a trufle infused oil at none other that Big Lots. A good brand, I just am not really fond of it though. I do use it in different dishes and salads.
ANd yes, I'd use them on chicken & fish as well.
