Brit - the pics you posted look like they have apples in them? I don't see that in the recipe, but it looks yummy!

Ohh...went back to Tara's page...Brit - the pic you posted is of her Cinnamon Apple Roll Ups:

CINNAMON APPLE ROLLUPS
2 Tablespoons butter
2 large firm Apples (Fuji or Granny Smith) cored, peeled and sliced into 8 wedges
8 oz can Crescent Rolls
1/3 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon & ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, divided
¼ cup orange juice

Preheat Oven to 425 degrees. Melt butter & pour into 9” pie dish.

Unroll crescent rolls, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar mixture, press lightly. Slice crescent rolls in half lengthwise to make 16. Place an apple wedge at wide end of each piece of dough and roll up toward narrow end. Arrange in pie dish, turning each piece to coat with butter, point down. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over rolls, pour orange juice over rolls. Bake 20 minutes – covering w/foil last 5 minutes to avoid excessive browning. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Photo: Looking for something sooo simple, yet sooo scrumptious? These Cinnamon Cream Cheese Rollups couldn't be any easier...or look any yummier when prepped, cooked and served on lovely Floral Lace! http://qvc.co/FloralLace-24PcSet CINNAMON CREAM CHEESE ROLLUPS 1 loaf of soft white bread 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese 1 1/2 cups of sugar, divided 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla 2 tsps cinnamon (or to taste) ½ cup butter, melted Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Trim the crusts from the bread and roll the slices flat. Beat together the cream cheese, ½ cup of sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Spread the bread slices with cream cheese mixture and roll them corner-to-corner. Mix the remaining 1 cup of sugar with the cinnamon and quickly roll the slices through the melted butter (or brush them with a pastry brush) and then through the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Best served warm. These freeze very well. Tara’s Tip: For extra zip, you can add lemon or orange zest to the cream cheese, or a dash of almond extract. I’ve also added mini chocolate chips, raisins, nuts or cranberries!

LOL...thanks for clarifying the pics ladies! And thanks for posting the apple ones too! I want to try them both!!

The white bread in the cinnamon ones seems 'odd' to me! Never would have guessed looking at the ones David was eating that they were made of white bread! I don't think I have even ever purchased white bread! LOL

Web site cooks.com has similar recipe-"" cinnamon cheese roll ups"". Using loaf bread instead of having to make dough. These are very good. Took to many functions- many compliments.
