Chinese Green Beans -- Anyone ????

Around Atlanta the Chinese Buffet lines have as a selection the best Green Beans I've ever tasted -- they're served whole but aren't swimming in any kind of sauce. Anyone know how they make them so tasty? I've looked in my Chinese cookbooks and even tried one from online but nothing close yet. TIA!
