THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST, my opinion anyway I don't know who originally posted this one but is our favorite.
Here is a great one, very very good.
'Calling All Cooks' has a great one that I have served over and over again. Here it is:
Tom Hayes's Chili with Chocolate Recipe Courtesy of Tom Hayes Show: Calling All Cooks Episode: I posted this one, is really very good and the only one I now make,
Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Yield: 11 cups
2 pounds ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 or 2 tablespoons chili powder
2 to 4 milk chocolate kisses
2 (15-ounce) cans of kidney beans, undrained
Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese
Cook first 3 ingredients in olive oil, in Dutch oven over medium heat. Stir until ground beef crumbles, then drain. Return mixture to Dutch oven and stir in the chili powder, tomato sauce, and chocolate kisses. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Add kidney beans and cook until thoroughly heated. Garnish if desired.

I really need to look at that magazine! I have it in my car with other ones to read while waiting for child pick-up after school. I think later this week could be good chili weather. Thanks Walker! (I usually put cocoa powder in chili...my have to try those kisses!)

Great ideas, ladies! I have never had a chili with any type of chocolate! I always have cocoa powder in the house!
I am so glad our Wegman's has kisses in the bulk section. I will only buy the 4 needed for the above recipe. Let's hope all 4 make it into the pot!

Doglover3 thank you for that recipe. I must try it.
I think a little chocolate and cinnamon are the secrets in Cincinnati chili, which I LOVE!

I got to wondering if maybe if you have a favorite chili recipe why couldn't you just put those Hershey kisses in the one you make and love to start with? If anyone tries let please post and tell us if that made a difference.
This one is the only one I have made since finding it and it is really really good but than I haven't tried just adding the kisses to any other recipe.

i have a wonderful quick chili recipe:
2 1/2 to 3 lbs ground beef cooked and drained
1 medium onion chopped cooked a few minutes (Ninja stove top comes in good here)
1 large jar medium picante sauce or hot if you prefer more heat
chili powder to taste
2 to 3 small cans tomato juice
beans if you like I don't because we use this on hotdogs and hamburgers
combine on slow cooker setting in Ninja or in regular slow cooker and cook on low for a couple of hours or simmer on stovetop for a while. Very quick to prepare and quite tasty.

I agree and maybe if you already have a favorite chili recipe just add the Hershey's chocolate to yours and see how you like it.
