Thank you for posting this.  I used to make this frequently when the children were home and I just forget about making all those things because, when I worked over the last 10 years, with no children and a sick husband, I ordered out a lot and now I am retired and getting into cooking.

This is a great recipe.  Thank you for the great reminder.  I am copying yours down.  It lookis good!!!

I lost my hubby a few years ago so I don.t cook like I used to. I have posted MANY recipes on here that I grew up with, in hopes other people would enjoy them as much as my family has.Woman Very Happy

I am very sorry about  your loss.  I have not experienced  that but my husband is in very ill health.  I very much appreciate your taking the time to post these recipes.  This one just hit my recipe documents right at the top of the list. We always enjoyed it.  I might have the kids home in Summer and make it for them....oh the memories that would evoke.  Man Happy

Just wanted to say that I made this Chicken Spaghetti the other

day and had it for dinner.

I am here to say it was DELICIOUS.  DH loved it so much that

he wanted it again the next night.  And that was Ok with me.

I did do something a little different.

I only used half the recipe as it is just the 2 of us.

I bought a rotisserie chicken from Wal-mart that was very good

and used it instead of having to boil a chicken and it saved me

some time and cleanup.

Yes I would make it again for sure.

Schultzi

Think I will zip to Wal-mart and get another chicken and make this

again and put it in individual servings and freeze for easy meals at

a later date.  Kinda like a heat n eat

I love chicken spaghetti, but growing up as a kid I hated it. Isn't it funny how our taste buds can change?

Just to add my two cents, rotisserie chicken from the store makes this easier to prepare if you're pressed for time. But the best way to do it is to boil your own whole chicken, and then boil your spaghetti in that same water you boiled the chicken in. Makes the casserole super tasty.

As always, thanks for sharing your recipes, @LilBitMissty! BTW, I made chicken spaghetti the first of the week and hubby and I have eaten it twice for supper already....not much left now to fight over. Ha!
