CheeseBurger Casserole

1 pound ground beef

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 can tomato soup

1 can peas...do not drain

salt & pepper to taste

CHEESE FILLED BISCUITS..........RECIPE FOLLOWS

Cheese Filled Biscuits:

1 cup flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons Crisco

1/3 cup PLUS 1 Tablespoon milk

cheddar cheese

Brown beef and onion. Drain. Add soup, peas salt & pepper. Put in 1 1/4 quart casserole dish. Top with cheese biscuits.

To Make Cheese Biscuits:

Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.

Cut in Crisco. Add milk. Knead on a floured surface about 14 times. Divide dough into 8 pieces. 

Cut cheese in 8  3/4 inch cubes.

Mold dough around each cheese cubes.

Put biscuits on top of casserole.

Bake at 400*  for about 30 minutesor til biscuits are a deep golden brown.
