have always loved it this way, especially if a good restaurant makes it tableside.

they always use anchovies that are smashed into paste form versus anchovy paste.

so delicious and i dont even like anchovies in anything but this!

I almost always make my own dressings/sauces.  You are right, so much better than bottled or restaurant.  I don't use any oil or animal products.  You have to get creative, but the best!
