@Mom2Dogs.  Since it's not part of the cooking process, I'd think The Miracle Whip would be fine.  I prefer it over mayo.

There is also philly cream cheese and ranch dressing (dry packet) added to the mayo.

It should be a good substitution, but the flavor of the pizza will be different. I would try it.

I have used MW anywhere mayo is listed (baked or not) and have never had a problem.

I never buy mayo...grew up on MW!

I seem to be the lone voice of dissent here.  I wouldn't make that substitution.  They are two different products, not simply two different versions or brands of the same product.

@bluetail fly  Well I agree with you. As soon as I taste Miracle Whip I put the food aside. I can tell the difference right away and I don’t like it.

I grew up in a house where Miracle Whip WAS mayonnaise!

But we never ate pizza, so I can't speak for that.

I love those Veggie Pizza appetizers but have always used mayo.  However, I think you could substitute Miracle Whip....I use both for different things and like both.  Try it and let us know.

@walker ...I used what I had, Miracle Whip..thought I had what  I needed when I went to the grocery store...I think beause I always call miracle whip, mayo!

I tasted it, it seems OK....but will post back once I get reviews from the eating crowd!
