I am in search of a recipe for tomato sauce which is cooked in the Marchegian style. All I know is it's started with rendered salt pork (I think). In my area we have a Marchegian Club that sold the sauce by the quart, but has stopped. And to give out the recipe is certainly out of the question. So if any of you ladies and gentlemen are from Marche decendents, please share your recipe with me. Believe me, I have looked on the Internet and just can't find a recipe for it.
ETA 11/24/20 as you can see, I originally posted this in 2011 with no replies. Can any of you help with this recipe?
