This is a recipe that I use a lot. My family loves cabbage, At times I have also
coarsly chopped some carrots and used in the patties before frying.
Ginny's Cabbage Patties
1 med head cabbage
2 cup flour
1/2 cup Romano cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
6 eggs
1 tbls baking powder
2 cup oil for frying
Cook cabbage until soft; drain well.
Mash by hand or mixer adding flour,
cheese, salt and pepper, eggs (1 at a time)
and baking powder. Mix well. Drop
tablespoonful of mixture into hot grease,
cooking until golden and turning only once.
Set on paper towel to drain off excess grease.
Serve with sour cream (optional)
