CHICKEN SOUFFLE...Good for Company...

My second try...other post disappeared so if a duplicate please excuse.

4 Chicken Beasts

16 Slices Bread (crust removed)

6 Eggs,3 Cups Milk, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 ts. dry mustard

For Topping:

3 Cups Dry Cereal,crushed

1/2 Butter (1 stick)

1 Can "GOLDEN" Mushroom Soup

Prepare 8 hrs. to 1 day ahead. Steam/boil chicken for1/2 hr. Cool, remove from bone. Cut crusts from bread and place 8 slices of bread in 13 x 9 pan. Arrange chicken on bread in the form of 8 sandwiches. Place 1 slice of cheese on each sandwich. Top with remaining 8 slices of bread.

Mix eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard with mixer/blender and pour over sandwiches to saturate. Cover and refrigerate 8 hrs. or longer.

Mix crushed cereal and melted butter. Sprinkle over sandwiches.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour uncovered.

Before serving, spoon Golden Mushroom Soup over each serving on individual plates.

NOTE: DO NOT USE CREAM OF SOUP. Must be Golden Mushroom Soup!
