I decided to make homemade chk noodle soup today.

I bought a whole chicken, boiled it along with celery, onion, and carrots plus seasonings .I shredded chicken with a handmixer added 2 boxes of chicken broth, plus some of liquid from chicken and veggies. It made a huge pot,so I guess I will freeze some(someone on this site said yes you can freeze pasta) so that's what I'm going to do.I will share with my daughter grandson and ex

Sounds delicious. And good on you for making soup in summer; I usually wait until cooler weather.  Double-good on you for sharing with your exSmiley Happy

@Luvsmyfam If making chicken soup again you may want to cook the noodles separately enough to have when serving the soup is fresh.

Freeze the remainder of the soup and make fresh noodles when defrosting a batch for a serving (s).  Noodles don't do well when reheated.
