A serving plate isn't flat? Sorry, I don't know more about such things. At any rate, it sounds delicious.

I have cracked two plastic serving platters because of the hot syrup, so be careful of that. Yes, you need a platter with a lip.

All these Rhodes recipes look terrific, but I can't find them anywhere even though their website indicates that there are two stores in the area that do sell them. I may have to bite the bullet and go into Wal Mart - yuk!

I hear ya Sammijo, have you tried asking to the food manager at the stores if they do carry them or are they just out of stock, that's what I usually do because I have moved across so many states. Good luck Sammijo!
