I have been going through my recipe box and putting my favorite recipes on the computer for the last week or so and came across this recipe. It was the very first dessert that I brought to a potluck dinner.

Source: I have no idea who I got this recipe from. I do remember though when I made it, I thought it was HARD to make at the time. {#emotions_dlg.lol} Funny, how far I have come with my culinary skills.{#emotions_dlg.lol}

Ingredients

42 Oreo cookies

¼ cup butter

1 jar chocolate fudge ice cream topping

1 Bag of spanish peanuts

1 container of Cool Whip

½ gal. vanilla ice cream

Crush oreo cookies, add melted butter. Spread the cookie crumbs in a 9 x 13 pan, saving ½ cup for later. Add ice cream and freeze until firm. Add fudge topping, peanuts and then top with Cool Whip.

If desired, sprinkle the ½ cup of the cookie crumbs on top of the Cool Whip.
