Our neighborhood does a monthly Bunco. The person hosting serves the group.
I'm doing this September. I typically like to serve simple, good of course, and quick to make choices. The person last month did an Asian theme which was great. Dessert is typically served after 2 rounds. I'm going to make a delicious pistachio cake recipe for dessert my friend gave me. The simplicity and amount of food served is up to the host. I have some ideas; but curious if anyone has food suggestions you serve if you do Buncos? I won most Buncos this month!

It has been years but out Bunco group affectionately referred to as Drunco ha did the same as yours.
Same as with your group the host decided how elaborate or simple the snacks before desert would be.
We would have little bowls at each table of finger food, nuts, sometimes small trays of appetizers like savory rolls.

@Villagesbabe I am now a substitute bunco player. They have a standard 12, but if someone is ill, on vacation, a snowbird, I have been filling in. It's an easy, fun night. Everyone seems to have small appetizers, finger food, candy, dips, savory items with dessert and coffee after the final round. They offer beer, wine, soda, but this group rarely drinks.
They basically do some seasonal treats. Last month they even offered popsicles for summer. Everyone I've been to have had lots of snacks to choose from! Some grapes and cheeses if someone didn't want full calorie indulgences.
Enjoy your month! Maybe add something "fallish" with the first day of Fall in September.

We did have a neighborhood Bunco group several years ago. Then people started moving and eventually we stopped. But, we used to do somewhat of a theme...not always. We did have small bowls on each table of nuts/snacks.
September is great month to kick off Fall. We usually served hearty appetizers as well as a dessert. Here is a good beverage for Fall party.
Hot Cider
6 cups Apple Cider
1 cup Amaretto
cinnamon sticks
orange slices
Put all in a crock pot and simmer before party ...maybe couple of hours.

You could serve a simple quiche or savory tart. There are lots of recipes for some good ones depending on what you think your group might like. Cheese, bacon, spinach, peppers etc. that can be baked while you are all playing and then just served out of the bak8ng dish. You could do some simple chips and dips or hummus with pita for appetizer. Then end with your wonderful cake.

@nikkisaunt1, I agree that quiche is an excellent choice. It's also smart because it's best if made the day before, then reheated the following day.
Single slices or mini quiches are perfect after 15 minutes at 350.
@Villagesbabe, I think fruit skewers/kabobs would be pretty and festive too.
There are lots of recipes online for fruit dip, or you could just use vanilla yogurt or skip it alltogether.
Enjoy your game!
