BEER CAKE

Combine and set aside:

1 cup beer

1 Tablespoon Baking Soda

2 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar

Beat together 4 eggs & 2 cups sugar then add

1 cup melted butter

2 1/2 cups sifted flour

along with beer mixture. Mix until smooth. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.

TOPPING

Combine

3/4 cup unsifted flour

1/3 cup soft butter

1/2 cup sugar

spread on cake and bake 45 minutes at 375.
