We use the packaged Hormel Beef Tips in Gravy. Cook up and fry some widenoodles and serve it with cooked red cabbage. A familly trsdition of sorts and called Beef Agarnoff as a joke from the old TV show F-Troop.

@StylishLady How do you "fry up" noodles? Enlighten me!

First cook the noodles, then fry them in some melted butter. Enhances the flavor and adds some crispiness.

@StylishLady Thanks. Just recently discovered Amish brown butter noodles. Sounds similar.
Don't remember my Mom ever cooking "noodles" for us. She always made rice, plain rice, and gravy. Don't remember eating spaghetti either. Don't remember when I learned about it.

Funny how our expeiences can differ. I never had spaghetti until I married DH. He was born and raised on the North Side of Syracuse NY, the Italian neighborhood, and although he is not of Italian heritage, he was used to the food. It has been one of our regular family meals.
