I made this last night and it was delicious!  My favorite part?  Any bite that had a mandarin orange in it!  LOL  The combo of flavors was just fantastic!

I am sharing it with a young family with a newborn and I know they will enjoy it as well.

It so reminded me of a dish my mom used to make in her old fashioned "Blow up the House' style pressure cooker!  LOL 

Long simmering...my beef was just as tender!   Just melted in my mouth!

I made a wonderful beef and broccoli dish last night from my alltime fave chinese cookbook that I have been using for many years. Highly recommended....every single recipe that I've made out of it is a winner! Find on Amazon. GREAT illustrations!

Respectlife....Hi sweetie.  YAY!! I am so happy you tried this!   Glad you like it too!!  I'm like you, love mandarin oranges!  Hmmm  I have more recipes that use mandarin oranges. I will have to go through my recipes and post them for you. Funny you mention yu mention those old pressure cookers.  I remember the time the lid blew off. From that day on I have NEVER used a pressure coorker. Once was enough to scare the heebie jeebies out of me!!  Lol. My mom used to banish us to the back of the house when she used that old pressure cooker...just in case.

LOL  Thankfully, nothing ever happened!  I think the only thing she ever made in it was chinese type dishes.

I would love recipes with madarin oranges...when you have the time!  Especially if they are main dishes.  I have lots of dessert recipes...but please, No rush at all.  Just whenever you have the time.

Respectlife...Hi sweetie.  After going through one of those "explosions" I can certainly understand why she banished you from the kitchen!  It was scarey for sure. And yes, most certainly I will post more recipws using mandarine oranges   So keep an eye on the recipes I post...ok?    Take care dear lady. Talk with you soon.
