I think that recipe sounds great and I'm saving it, but something has occurred to me.
It calls for heavy whipping cream plus parmesan. That is how I used to make Alfredo sauce from scratch for other dishes that we like at our house.
Then I discovered that simply buying a container of Buitoni or RANA brands of refrigerated Alfredo sauces did as well or better than my own sauce from scratch.
For me, it's hard to go back to buying both the whipping cream and parmesan separately, when I can get both in one store-bought sauce.
Just a thought. I'm sure your version is excellent and appreciate your post of the recipe.
